9 Months...Where has time gone?

March has been a really fun month for the Geiger's! Daniel turned 30 at the beginning of the month.  Lee and I helped him celebrate all week!  He had three different birthday cakes and parties!  It was a lot of fun!

After that it was Spring Break for Daniel we just relaxed at home! Daniel went on a fishing trip with his dad and we celebrated Easter with our families.

While we were down at our parents celebrating Daniel's birthday Lee took his first two steps (3/13/16) then a few days later he started taking more than two!  He gets about 4 in almost every time sometimes even ten or more (3/18/16) then around 3/24/16 he started actually walking across the room!  I am calling it walking :) even though he is not fluent!  He is a lot of fun! He plays well and is into everything!  He is taking about 2 naps a day unless we drive somewhere, then he gets an extra cat nap!

We have been enjoying our outside swing and even some lemonade popsicles.  We have tried some new foods this month too, even though he still does not have any teeth!  He loves shredded cheese, bananas, fried rice and Mexican rice :)

Lee starts infant survival swim lessons in a week!  It is really important if your child is going to be around water to make them aware of the dangers and to teach them how to float.  This is what Lee will be doing - they can start learning to float as early as 6 months!  Hopefully I will have some good videos and pictures for you in next months blog!

8 Months - We Love This Boy!

Month 8...really? I have already started thinking about his 1st birthday!

Not much has happened this month - we tried to take it easy with the traveling and plans.  Lee has mastered the crawling and standing!  He has walked some with the toy walker but knows he can get where he wants by crawling.

He loves the dog's bed - he will crawl over and run them out, then sit and play for a few minutes.  When he leaves, they go lay back down.

We have had a few really nice days to play outside!  Lee loves to swing - we bought him an outdoor swing for our house! I cannot wait to play outside with him.

We have had a few outings with friends, which is so much fun!  He loves to climb on things,playing with balls, climbing in boxes and under tables!

 Kitchen Adventures 

We celebrated Mary Margaret's 3rd birthday at he very end of January.  Lee loved the gymnastics floor and bouncers!  He also likes to play with Levi!

Lee had his first yucky cold this month - it was not fun! Glad he is finally better - now if we could sleep through the night again.

Sick baby = Tired mommy

We are currently on night 4 of bed before 10 (I am talking 8:30 or 9!!!) - if you know us typically he was staying up until 11 just because we stay up late.  Then he sleeps in with us too!  He has slowly gone to bed earlier which is nice for Mommy and Daddy, but he has started waking up in the middle of the night which is not desirable.  As I am typing this (February 27) he is spending the first night in his own room in his own crib!!!  This is the first night he has slept in a different room than us his entire life!  We will see how many times I have to get up to put a paci back in his mouth or just to get him back to sleep!  Praying it is a good night! (He made it to 2 AM!)
