He is learning so much! I am amazed each day at how much he knows and can do. I usually spend several minutes every afternoon retelling Daniel of all the crazy and smart things Lee did each day. He isn't talking a lot - he can say Mama and Daddy - when he wants too but not usually when we want him too. He does know "please" in sign language and has learned to use that not only when he is supposed to but to also get something he wants - even if he doesn't need it :). He is working on "thank you" - right now it is just more like kissing his hand, but we are getting there. He can bring me matching shoes and he can also put on his crocs by himself on the right feet! He climbs on everything, even the kitchen chairs. He loves to write with a pencil - especially when I am tutoring in the afternoons. He loves to wave "bye-bye" and walk my tutoring kids to the door when they are leaving. I can tell him to go get certain things and he knows and understands what he is getting - like his paci, his juice/milk cup, or shoes. He also knows what "go put this in the garbage" means, and will throw things away for me...however he also likes to take things out of the garbage can - which is something we are having to work on :). He loves to ride on toy cars and his tricycle.
We have enjoyed going to high school football games, volleyball games, friends houses, church, and lots of other places to keep us busy. We recently got to use the car buggies at the grocery store and he loved it! These things are a moms life saver when shopping!
I could probably keep going about all of the things Lee can do - because I am his momma and am so proud of him and love him so much.
We went to his 15 month check up on September 27, he is in the 25% for height and about 55-60% for weight - 30.5 inches tall and 24 pounds 11.5 ounces.
I started this post several weeks ago, and in true Tabitha fashion I haven't finished it yet and have more to add. Lee got his first real hair cut on October 20 - he only whimpered a little! He continues to amaze us with the things he has learned. He can sign "thank you" well now and is working on "more". We went to the lake and he LOVED being outside for three days straight! He has finally started to get a few more teeth. One on the bottom front and two top molars have broken through and he has two huge knots where the bottom two molars are trying to make their presence known. He has done pretty well over all with getting new teeth just a little fussier than normal.
That about sums up the last few months with the Geiger's! Here are a few pictures from the last few months!!!
