We finally had his 9 month appointment :) Lee weighed 22 Pounds 4 Ounces - he had lost a little from being sick this month and 29 inches tall!
He has also gotten into his bedtime routine. He eats at 9, we put on pajamas then we read to him from The Jesus Story Book Bible and then he goes to bed! I can tell now after a good month of doing this routine about 8:45 he is getting ready for bed!
We went to the Birmingham Zoo and Cheesecake Factory with Daniel's family early in the month to celebrate Gigi's birthday! It was a lot of fun!
Lee and I went to relay for life! We made it until 9 pm :) That is pretty good for him!
Lee also had his first prom picture taken with his favorite Hannah and Ted! He loves these two - their families mean so much to us! Lee went to his very first football game at 2 months old to watch Ted play! This month Ted received an offer to play football for West Point Military Academy! The Geiger's are so proud of him and can't wait for August to watch him play during his senior year. (I taught Hannah and Ted in 8th grade!!!)
Since I am late writing this blog I will go ahead and add in our trip to the Montgomery Zoo with my mom and sister too!
To top off the month of April, Lee has been taking infant survival swim lessons! It has been awesome to watch him over the last 4 weeks learn to close his mouth and hold his breath under water, and then to roll to his back and float! He has done so well!
Waiting on our turn in the pool!
After 4 weeks Mr. Jeffery says he "passed"!!!
We love our little guy!!!!
He loves to play!!!!
Nap Time with Daddy!
Why do I even have toys when he plays with my pots, pans, measuring cups and plastic containers?
Enjoying some sunshine!
"Down, set, hike!"
Getting ready for football!
Cheese Monster! This kid LOVES cheese - can't you tell? :)
Playing in the rocks at the Wage's Farm!
Clapping is always fun! He will stop whatever he is doing and clap if he hears some one else clapping!
For comparison!
You say I used to be THAT SMALL????
Lee has also learned to say "bye-bye" (sort of) and wave!
See you next month!
