October 2017 - Disney World, Pumpkin Patch, Fall Festivals, and so much more!

October started out with lots of fun - Lee has started wanting to help in the kitchen which is always an adventure :).  We got to see the Clydesdale horses that came to town, then we packed up and headed to Disney World!
 My kitchen helper!
The really tall horses :)

This is Lee's third trip - and it was the absolute best!  He loves Mickey and was not scared to visit the characters!  He wanted to ride all the rides and was sad if he couldn't ride something!  There are soooo many pictures from our trip, I will try to share the best ones :)
My Buzz Lightyear partner in crime!

Train Ride!
Lee got to drive the go carts!
Lee was mesmerized with the different rides!
Prince Charming's Carousel

AND THE REST OF THE CHARACTERS

We rode Toy Story several times!
Home Sweet Home - Disney is fun but man is it exhausting :)

Lee also started a mommy and me tumbling class! He is learning to front roll, back flip, walk on a balance beam, and do different jumps on a trampoline.  This class has been great because it is helping him learn to follow specific directions as well as go through an obstacle course and not just do his "favorite" thing.
Getting ready to front roll!

We love going to the Farmer in the Dell Pumpkin Patch to see the animals, ride the hay ride, and pick out our pumpkins!  Lee got to paint his this year!  He also led Daniel and I through the corn maze - glad we made it out!

Some of our sweet friends - Josh, Courtney, and Lily Jayne from Dothan came and spent a weekend with us too!  It was so good to catch up with them and watch Lee and Lily Jayne play!  They had so much fun!
Go Army - Go Ted!
Lee picked out this jersey instead of his Auburn t-shirt!

We ended the month with our All Saints Fair at church and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters!  Lee makes a super cute "Chase" the police dog from Paw Patrol!

Loving the cotton candy!  We let him ride the little train by himself (Sorry it is blurry!)!
Chase (Lee) is always busy! Working in the back yard with his hat and backpack!

And in case you are wondering....Savannah Faye is growing and doing very well!
19 Weeks 5 Days

2 Years Old, Big Brother to a Little Sister, New Job, and a New House

If I was far behind on my last post when Lee was 19 months, I don't even know what I am since he is now 2 years and 4 months old! Sorry for the wait...we have been super busy with lots of things going on, so this will be a long post!

March 2017
March was busy with zoo trips, spring break trips to see family, and play dates that even included the first water time of the year!  Lee stayed with his grand parents for a few days  and finally ditched his pacifier! That was much easier than I ever imagined it would be! We cut out the paci at nap time first then bedtime! By the time he was 21 months old (3/27) he was no longer using the paci!

April 2017 - EASTER - POOL - LAKE - RELAY FOR LIFE
We had a lot of fun in April!  We visited family and got to go swimming, went to the lake, celebrated Easter with our families and went to Relay for Life in Lee County (Lee walked about 3 miles that night - he did not want to sit down!)

May 2017 - POTTY TRAINING - BEACH VACATION - GRADUATION
In May we took on the big adventure of potty training!  He did pretty good to start with and got much better after a week or so! We were very glad to have this big task started! It is still a work in progress but he is doing great!  We also did our family vacation to the beach! And some or our sweet friends graduated from high school!

June 2017 - BIG BROTHER LEE - LEE TURNS 2 - LAKE
We found out on June 12th that Lee was going to be a big brother! We had a fun trip to the lake! We also celebrated our 9th anniversary and Lee's 2nd birthday!
July 2017 - NEW JOB - HOUSE HUNTING - BEACH
We spent July 4th at the beach! Daniel accepted a new position at the University so we were finally able to start looking for a house this month!  We actually put in an offer on a house on July 28th and it was accepted the very next day!
August 2017 - IT'S A GIRL - GETTING READY TO MOVE
I started packing as soon as our contract was accepted on the new house - and it took me all month to get packed!!!  We went for our gender scan on August 28th and found out our new addition is going to be a girl - her name will be Savannah Faye!  We also had a final walk through of the house so we took Lee's picture on the steps with his "Big Bro" shirt and his "Little Sister" pajamas!

September 2017 - NEW HOUSE - DISNEY ON ICE - RENOVATIONS
September was probably the busiest month we have had in a long time!  Moving is NO JOKE!  We closed on the house on August 31st and immediately began cleaning.  We started moving boxes on September 1st! So long Ridgewood Village it was a great 9 years for me and 11 years for Daniel!  We have been grateful for the help from our families as we transitioned into our new house!  We also go to go to Disney on Ice in Birmingham - it was really fun!
