September/October 2020 - 6 Months

September was fun! We squeezed in one more lake trip, a zoo trip, Auburn football, new foods, new jail, Savannah Faye started tumbling and Lee started tennis lessons, and so much more!

Some fun Adalyn facts for the month:

9/2 - 21 weeks 5 days she started sitting up

9/4 - 22 weeks walking in the walker in straight lines actually moving it :)

9/14 - 23 weeks 3 days moving the walker around the room in more than straight lines!

9/22 - 24 weeks 4 days - first tooth broke through and had her first bit of banana - pictures below to show she was not a fan haha

9/23 - we gave her some apple sauce and she loved it!

Adalyn's 6 Month Check Up Stats:

21 Pounds 4 oz - 98%

28 inches tall - 97%

Tennis Lessons for Lee!

Tumbling Time!

We started a fun thing at our house - movie night! We find a new movie (or new to the kids) and make our own movie theater. We go buy candy and make popcorn and set up the seats to watch! The kids love it!

One of Septembers field trip was to DARE Park! They have the coolest playground and the kids went out in innertubes into the water with Mrs. Jen! Adalyn napped in the shade while the big kids played in the water.

August/September 2020 - Adalyn month 5 - KINDERGARTEN!

Adalyn celebrated turning 4 months by sitting up leaned forward with some assistance on August 7 - she was 18 weeks old! 2 weeks later - August 22 (20 weeks 1 day) she sat up on her own without falling over (pillows all around just in case :)) then on August 27 (20 weeks 6 days) we officially said she could sit up without assistance - and that is GAME CHANGING :) On August 24 - we attempted her first bite of food :) a little cinnamon sugar cooked carrots... She was not really sure what she thought about them but swallowed some! At 4 months old she was wearing 6-9 month clothes!

Savannah Faye finally had her 2 year old check up - she was 30 pounds (70%) and 36.75 inches (77%)! Lee had his 5 year check up - he was 43.4 pounds (65%) and 43.5 inches (56%)!

Here are some pictures of our crazy busy August! We took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge for the first time to celebrate Lee starting Kindergarten! We also started Kindergarten Homeschool (we have always planned to homeschool - this was not a Covid 19 decision :))

We sent our sweet Weezy off to Baylor in August to start college! So thankful for her and Tanner and what they mean to my kiddos!
