June 2018 - Month 4 - 3 years - 10 years - a lot to celebrate!

June is always a busy month for us, between summer beginning, Vacation Bible School, birthdays, our anniversary and all the other fun things we can squeeze in! I will give a few quick updates then just add a lot of pictures to share our month of fun!

Savannah Faye:
This was month 4 for our sweet girl!  At her check up this month she weighed 15 pounds 9.6 ounces (79%) and 26 inches tall (97%).  She has enjoyed her time in all of the upright toys around the house and loves to lay on her stomach and play with toys.  She is reaching and grabbing for them and can spin herself around on her stomach to get anything within arms reach.  She also got in the swimming pool for the first time this month and LOVED it! She is still waking up a few times at night to eat, but sleeps well in between in her crib.  She is getting into more of a routine with her napping during the day taking about 3 good naps a day and a few cat naps (especially if we are in the car).  She is developing a fun personality and is always watching her brother and smiling - she is precious and we lover her so!
THAT SMILE!!!!

These two love each other!  I pray he will always protect her and that they will be best friends!

Look how she has grown!!!

Lee:
Lee started out the month with year 3 of swim lessons!  He has learned to swim, float, swim and does it very well!  Infant Swim Resources is an amazing program to teach little ones how to float in a body of water.  He went to a few nights of VBS with Levi and Zoey, spent a lot of time at both grandparents and playing with all of his cousins, played at Lily Jayne's house, went to a friends birthday party and spent an entire week at our church for VBS.  He also turned 3!!!!! I cannot believe it has been three years since he was born (which means I have been doing the blog a little over 3 years also!) - at his check up he was 33 pounds (66%) and 37.5 inches (53%)!  We finished off the month with his birthday party!  He got to invite friends to the party at his tumbling gym!  They had an hour of free play all over the trampolines and tumble mats! He had a blast!!!  He can count to ten, and from 5 backwards, he recognizes most colors and is working on his alphabet!  He loves to play outside, swim, pretend to be super heros or a police man and loves a good sword fight! He is so much fun and has a fantastic imagination - we love him so much!

May 2018 - Three Months - So Many Changes

We have had a busy month!
Daniel finished up Spring Semester classes and started Summer classes, we visited with family, went to graduation, graduation party, welcome home party, the mountains (of course I forgot to take a family picture!), and south for swim lessons!  Needless to say this momma is tired!  June will be just as busy!

A few pictures from the mountains!  Playing in the really cold river :)

Savannah Faye Update -
Savannah made it to the three month mark!!! She had a lot of firsts this month!
We moved her to her crib on May 14 - she slept from 11p.m. - 4a.m. then ate and slept from 4a.m. - 8a.m.  She does not do that consistently, now she usually wakes up around 2 and 5, but she does sleep in her crib!
She decided it was time to start rolling over at 14 weeks and one day - May 27th - while we were in the mountains!  She rolls to her belly all the time now!  She will play that way for a little while then get fussy!
She has been sitting in the high chair some while I cook or while we eat supper!  It is fun to have her join us :)  She can sit in the bumbo, exersaucer, and jumperoo too, its a whole new world for her!
She loves her brother and always smiles at him - he can even get her to giggle!  It is awesome to watch them interact!  She blows bubbles and makes all kinds of noises!  She loves a good bath too!
I weighed her at home and she was about 12.8 pounds!  She has another wellness check up in June at 4 months! She has outgrown 0-3 month pajamas and almost 0-3 month outfits too!  Watching her start to enjoy toys is so much fun! OOOO and she is getting a tooth!!!!!
All dressed up for church (I think I like this color on her HAHA!)
She covers her eyes when she is trying to sleep :)
First night in her big girl crib!!!

Lee Update -
Lee is really growing and developing such an imagination!  The other day he was Captain Hook :)  He started swim lessons after memorial day!  He has learned how to float like a champ and is even swimming!  He has had so much fun visiting his grandparents and cousins!!! I cannot believe he is almost 3!!!!
