~SWEET SUMMERTIME~

Starting a blog has been on my summer time list of to-dos! So here goes nothing :)

Just to catch everyone up the life of the Geigers:

Daniel is still working on his PhD, we have a projected graduation date of August 2015 - WOOHOO!!  We are very excited, but now comes all of the hard work - dissertation!  Pray this goes smoothly and quickly for Daniel.

I am still teaching at Auburn Junior High, just finished year seven.  It is hard to believe that I have been teaching that long!  We love living in Auburn, but are praying that God will show us what He has for us to do when Daniel graduates.

We are very excited to be going to London this month and then to Disney next month!  We have a busy summer ahead, but we are looking forward to all that we will be doing.  I hope to be able to update the blog about all of our trips, so look for those posts!

I am teaching summer school which is only half days so that leaves plenty of time for real lunches with friends, pool time, reading, and my favorite - sewing!  I am finishing up a quilt for a friend and will soon be starting a quilt for my newest niece on the way - Anna Catherine Snipes!  One day I will get caught up on all the baby quilts and can start on one for my couch!  (I will do a blog post about all my quilts soon!)

We cannot wait to meet Anna Catherine, and we LOVE spending time and loving on all of our nieces and nephews - we are up to 6 and one on the way!!!  We are an awesome Aunt and Uncle ;)

Well the blog has been started, I can check that off my list - now to keep it up :)
