It is crazy to think that our little boy is half a year old! Where have the last six months gone? I remember the old saying "you are as slow as a kid waiting on Christmas to come" or something along those lines. As a kid I thought it took forever for the "most wonderful time of the year" to arrive. Now as an adult it seems like it will be here again before we now it! I do not want to wish my life faster because I am enjoying this time with my sweet family, so it just blows my mind that 6 months ago we were celebrating Lee's arrival!
Ready for church!
This month has been full of firsts and extremely busy! At the beginning of December Lee was rolling over from back to belly but getting mad. He then finally figured out how to roll back to his back! We thought that was a great day! Little did we know that when he figured out how to sit up from laying down we would celebrate more. I was not ready for him to crawl, but being able to sit up from any position was awesome! He had been getting on all fours for quite some time but then eventually landing on his belly. He decided right before Christmas it would be a good time to stand on hands and feet with his rear in the air! A couple days after he turned 6 months (since I am behind on writing this I will go ahead and add it!) he figured out how to scoot/army crawl. He gets anywhere he wants to go now. He hasn't quite figured out the actual arm and leg crawling motions but that hasn't stopped him! A few more things he has learned this month: pulling himself up on anything, finding and putting his paci in his mouth now on his own - YAY, and He loves being able to play in the bath tub now - it might be his favorite thing to do!

Napping while mommy shops and if he isn't napping he is chillin'!
He loves riding in the buggy!
We got to celebrate with Lily Jayne on her 2nd birthday!
Hey look I can stand on my feet and hands!
We went to Disney December 13-18 - and yes we took Lee! I have always said I was not going to take a baby, but Daniel and I wanted to go so we did it! Honestly 5-6 months was a good age. He was not crawling so he did not beg to get down :) he rode either in the stroller or my carrier. He also took naps in either so we did not have to stop for him to nap. He was actually engaged more than I thought he would be - I know he didn't understand what was going on, but he LOVED the Lion King show and several of the other rides he got to participate in.
Ready to go see Mickey Mouse!
We found Mickey and Minnie!
Watching the Lion King show (clearly he was more interested in the show that pictures with us!)
Lee's first trip to Disney World was a success! We cannot wait to go again!
..
As I said before - December was busy. We were home two weeks then went to Disney, then came home for 4 days and then went south home to see our families for Christmas. We did have our own little family Christmas before we went down - Lee was actually interested in opening (ok trying to eat the paper) presents. He has had so many new things to play with I think he is a bit overwhelmed! All in all it was a great first Christmas for him! I know next year will be a lot of fun - I cannot wait for him to understand the True meaning of Christmas!

Loved the Christmas tree lights!
As I think back on the last, so much in our life has changed. Joyfully welcoming Lee into our lives, Daniel graduating with his PhD, becoming a stay at home mom - God has blessed us and we can only give Him the glory.
We love our SUPER baby boy!
