Geigers: January 2019 - A New Year, 11 Months of fun and Disney World!

January was a fun month for the Geigers! We rang in the new year in the Blue Ridge Mountains, went to the Montgomery zoo with friends, then we hosted 11th grade girls for their youth Fuel Weekend, and ended the month with a trip to Disney World!

Savannah Faye Update:
Our girl turned 11 months in January! It is hard to believe I have started thinking about her first birthday party! She is walking everywhere and trying to run to keep up with Lee. It is so fun to see the new things she learns every day! She can say Bye- Bye and wave when asked :) she tries to say Momma and Dada or Daddy - we are pretty sure we have heard both multiple times. She has also started shaking her head No! She is understanding the word "no" as well - which is a huge help when she is not supposed to touch something. She did really well on our Disney trip and loved the rides she got to go on and the shows. All of the colors are captivating to the little ones! We will have her health stats at the end of next month after she turns one!

Lee Update:
Lee is learning new words and how to use them correctly every day. His vocabulary is expanding so much - I am amazed! He loved entertaining the youth girls when they were here :). He is working on learning to balance on his bicycle - he is getting better and better! He moved up in his tumbling class this month. He was in the "mommy and me" and now he is in just "tumble tots" which means I get to sit and watch him. He is doing so good listening and following directions with out me standing there with him. This was his 4th trip to Disney - and I have to say one of the best for him. He was able to ride several of the bigger rides/roller coasters and even asked to ride them again! He still loved meeting the characters and begged to keep going and doing different things. He fell asleep every afternoon in whatever line we were waiting for because he was so tired from all the activity! He knows that Disney is "very far away" but would get in the car and go again tomorrow if we said we could!
