Overall update:
Covid - 19 is still very prevalent in our world right now, as are masks in public places, social distancing, and places being closed or strange hours. (what is super wild....is Disney has been closed since March - by the time it plans to reopen next month it will have been closed for almost 4 months!) Before March 2020 our kids went everywhere with us and went in all the places that we went in...April and May of 2020 our kids stayed at home - we swapped out who went to stores that we needed to go in to, or the kids stayed in the car. June 2020 - we began to let them venture out with us, Lee wears a mask with Daniel and I, but now the kids ask "do we get to go in this store?" It is crazy how just a few months can retrain them as to what the norm is for our family. We were preparing for our end of the month beach trip and we all went to Walmart - this was the first time the kids had stepped foot inside Walmart in exactly 3 months! We used to go together at least once a week!
I do not know what things look like for the future, but we have started getting together with friends in an outdoor setting and have had a few over to the house. We went to a graduation dinner and party for Anna Louise, the beach at the end of June through beginning of July with Gigi and GPa and then to DibDab and HeeHaw's for a week (some pictures will be next month since it was a June/July trip).
We have used the time at home to get different projects done - one of which was re-landscaping the front yard and filling holes in the back yard - Daniel and I have worn ourselves out on Saturdays getting these things done. We also had my parents come up to help Daniel fix the back wall so we can get the house painted this summer. We laugh because every time we go to Lowe's it is always soooo busy - we think everyone is doing the same things - house projects :)

Lee Update:
We were planning for June an awesome month for our Lee... He would have participated in VBS as a kindergartner this year - I was so looking forward to this for him! Instead we did an awesome "take home" VBS - Lakeview did an amazing job of creating fun and learning about God in a different way this year. Back in February, Daniel and I had started talking about Lee turning 5 (I still cannot believe he is that old) - we were going to have a birthday party with friends and family, then take him on an Atlanta trip to see a Braves baseball game and go to the aquarium. Those plans all got changed! Thankfully things have been going well and we were able to have a small birthday party with a few of his friends at our house, then a family pool party (the beginning of July - next blog :) On his birthday we planned to get Chick fil a and eat by a local pond, only to find out as we drove up it was closed...so we took him to the park, and then the Wages invited us to go swim in their neighborhood pool! We have a trip to Great Wolf Lodge planned for August as a birthday/kindergarten kick off for him. I think he really enjoyed both parties and his birthday - even with all of the plans that had to be changed! He is getting to be an excellent swimmer! It is so fun to watch him learn new things! All in all despite the redirection of our plans I think it was a fantastic month for Lee!
Savannah Faye Update:
Savannah Faye is spunky and fun as usual! She loves to do whatever Lee is doing! She loves to play with playdough and kinetic sand and draw, color and paint - even if more ends up on her than the paper. She has really enjoyed the pool time we have been able to get in at the beach and grandparents houses and with friends when at home. I have to beg or bribe her to get a smiling picture out of her these days...which is so unusual! I guess all kids go through something like that! She loved doing VBS with us this year! And every birthday party we have she thinks is for her :) She even told HeeHaw happy birthday one day haha! She loved playing in the sand at the beach but did not want it all over her hands when she was done playing and was very unsure about the actual ocean! She talks ALL the time - even in her sleep! She is growing so fast and learning so much!
Adalyn Update:
There are no official stats for 3 months as she does not go back to the doctor until 4 months - which ends up being the first of August. But she has gotten so big based on me carrying her around everywhere! At the very beginning of June we moved Adalyn to the pack -n- play to sleep (6-2-20) she did great! We also dropped the swaddle on 6-3-20 because she was breaking out of it at night. It was a good thing we started getting her to sleep in the pack -n- play versus the rock -n- play because on 6-7-20 she attempted to roll over from her back to her belly. She still had one arm stuck (9 weeks 2 days) - we called this back to side haha. She even rolled to her side to sleep! On 6-15-20 she rolled from her belly to her back and then on 6-21-20 managed to roll from back to belly all the way (11 weeks 2 days). Now if you lay her on the floor she immediately rolls over to her belly - then fusses! She started really cooing at us around 10 weeks old as well!
So to say the least June was a big month for our tiniest girl! She loves to smile at Lee and Savannah Faye - it is the sweetest thing! Savannah Faye will say "baby Adalyn smile at me"! The big kids love to lay on the floor with her and "play" with her! It is a challenge to make sure they give her room to play! She is usually very content in her bouncer or on the boppy pillow but still loves to be held!

Made the move from the rock -n- play to the pack -n-play - she has done awesome! She started rolling to her side to sleep!
This one keeps us laughing...she dressed up as Captain Marvel with a bear hat and Minnie Mouse shoes!
Adalyn starting to be more aware of her surroundings! Not quite playing yet!
This comparison was fun!
Bedtime snuggles!
Lee has been begging for this moment since we told him he was getting a baby in the house! He is so sweet with her and loved getting to give her a bottle!
Mini photo shoot since Adalyn was dressed up!
Blueberry picking at the Wages Family's Farm! We have enjoyed eating some blueberries - Savannah Faye ate every one she put in her bag!
Trying to roll over...
Lee "patiently" waiting on Taekwondo to start one day - the video camera was on the computer and projected onto the tv...I caught him making all kinds of faces!
Shopping at Lowe's fun...
She has not only been trying roll over but as you can see trying to sit up as well!
The results of our front yard landscaping! Lee is also learning the art of drinking water from the hose!
Adalyn....
Vacation Bible School
"Take Home"
So much fun!
My Girls!
Summer swinging and summer swimming!
Lee learned to float when he was 8 months old through ISR - Infant Swimming Resources. This is a program that teaches babies and children as young as 6 months to float when they fall in a pool for survival. It is an incredible program and if you ever want any more information please ask! This is Lee floating for fun as he now can swim on his own. I still make him practice his float every once in a while just in case he were to ever be in a position where he needed to rest and float.
The spring and summer months are full of our friends birthday parties...and this year is the big 5 for most of them! We went to Owen's swim party and had a blast!
Adalyn...
Anna Louise's Graduation Party!!!

Lee had a couple of birthday parties this year...one with his buddies at our house! They built birdhouses and played in the back yard! We were hoping to have a party at Home Depot this year, but just created our own tool - building party instead! They loved it and had so much fun!
The siblings and the guys!
Adalyn...
I was fixing my hair one day and decided to straighten Savannah Faye's hair...it is SOOO long! I sent her to show Daniel and he said "will her curls come back?? I love her curls!" I of course said yes, but got nervous and went and wet it to prove to him and myself the curls were safe! We are still laughing about it!
Just another sibling photo shoot because Adalyn was dressed up :)
Dress comparison...Adalyn has room to grow in this dress...I need to try it on her in a few months again!
Lee is getting really good at building things with the magnatiles! This is his car!
Birthday celebration number 2 on his birthday!!! So much fun celebrating our big 5 year old!
Birthday part family pictures!
Lee tried on his new taekwondo suit! Anna Louise, Tanner and Mrs. Wynne came to visit Lee and brought him cupcakes! We had planned to eat Chick Fil A by the local pond, but it was closed so we headed to Monkey Park to eat and play!
Then we had our annual birthday swim with Anna Louise! This year Ted, Tanner, Wake and Mrs. Wynne joined us! We love this family so much! And they love Lee, Savannah Faye and Adalyn!
It was a big month!!! Daniel and I celebrated 12 years of marriage!!
