Lee Update:
We are still working through our Pre-K4 material - we got behind some with Adalyn being born and our trips, so we are going to work some through the summer. I think this will also help keep him working for Kindergarten! His birthday is coming up next month so he is getting excited...I am not sure I am ready for him to turn 5! He is still constantly checking on Adalyn - he is so sweet with her and a huge help! He is really gotten into drawing pictures and maps, etc. It is fun to see what his imagination brings out!
Savannah Faye Update:
She keeps us laughing and is always busy! She loves to do whatever Lee is doing and has discovered the "copy cat" game! Sometimes he is ok with this, other times not so much! One of her favorite things to tell us is that "I a princess!" She loves her baby sister - which we are so thankful for! I pray they grow up to be best friends. She is spunky and sweet all rolled into one. She can carry on a conversation with anyone and there are very few things we do not understand from her these days. She loves Mickey Mouse - we cannot wait to take her to Disney World again.
Adalyn Update:
Two whole months! She is growing way to fast! She started to hold her head up pretty good - so on May 15, I put her in the bumbo for the first time...this did not last too long, but was a nice view change for her. While the two big kids were visiting grandparents, we tried out the crib for one night...(5/19) she did pretty good. On May 22, she got her first high chair visit in the kitchen with me :). Then on May 23 she had her first bottle! She gets about one bottle a day now rather than nursing - this is good practice for anytime we need to leave her with a baby sitter or something. While we were at the lake she did a 6.5 hour night time stretch (5/25-26) which was awesome. Now she is sleeping pretty consistently 4 -5 hours at night at one time. She usually eats around 11:30 then wakes up around 4:30, then again around 7:30a.m. So if I get up after the 7:30 feeding she is really only waking up one time at night for me since I stay up so late :). She had her two month doctor visit on 6/9/20 so I am obviously writing this afterwards...but her stats are: 13 pounds 5.2 ounces (86%) and 24 inches (95%) - this puts her about an ounce bigger than Lee at two months and a whole pound bigger than Savannah Faye was at two months! Like I said before - growing way too fast! She is smiling so much more! We are getting a smaller pack in play for her to sleep in our room since she is still waking up at night and we do not want her to wake Savannah Faye (surprise in next months blog about the pack in play and timing!)
We have so many things going on these days it is hard to remember everything...and I am really behind on my blogging...(She is currently 13 weeks old and 3 months as I type this...) Maybe one day I will catch up! Here are some pictures from May - Month 2 of sweet Adalyn!
